Cori Ashworth M.Ed., C.A.G.S. is a professional coach and career consultant with more than 20 years of experience guiding individuals and organizations in corporate, higher education, and nonprofit environments. Her background and experience as the Director of Alumnae Career Services for Mount Holyoke College, Senior Associate and Center Director with Right Management Associates, and Human Resources Manager in the high-tech industry have given her breadth and depth. From the executive who is developing dynamic leadership skills to the senior graduating from college preparing for her first job search, Cori has coached clients at all levels.
Most recently, Cori completed her work as a director of alumni career services at Bryn Mawr College, where she worked with the college’s alumnae nationwide. She is also the principal of Career Continuum, maintaining a coaching practice focused on developing women leaders, as well as consulting with corporate and not-for-profit organizations.
Cori’s education includes master’s degrees in Education (College of William and Mary) and Counseling (University of Massachusetts-Amherst), and she has completed all required coursework for the doctorate degree. She finalized her coaching certification in 2010 and has completed advanced training in retirement coaching. In addition, she is qualified in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She constantly reviews current materials and trends and incorporates new information into her coaching practice and training materials. Over the last two years, Cori has developed particular interest in Positive Psychology and integrates those principles into her one-on-one work and organizational consulting.
Active in her field, Cori holds memberships in the Alumni Career Services Network, National Career Development Association and International Coaching Federation. She has presented at the American Association of College and Universities and the National Career Development Conference, edited for the NACE journal and wrote for the Anita Borg Institute newsletter. Cori speaks and facilitates at conferences on a regular basis.
