Career Consulting

Career consulting is helpful at all stages of the career development continuum. It may be appropriate for the college senior who is unclear about the next step; the new worker who has selected the wrong path and feels unhappy; the returning worker; the midlife career changer; or future “retiree” who is seeking to redefine her life.

Steps in the Process:

Personal Assessment
This may include a review of your skills, values, interests and personality, as well as an analysis of the current work environment.

 

Market Assessment 
What is currently possible and realistic in the geography or indutry that you have selected? Cori can help determine what works well for you.

 

Strategy Creation 
Create an action plan to achieve success and make your goals a reality. Edit resume, hone interviewing and networking skills, consider social media and LinkedIn content to enhance your online presence.  Determine timeline and specific checkpoints for assessing progress.

Process Management
What level of support will work for you?  It often includes helping you implement your plans through coaching and thoughtful partnership. At predetermined intervals you can assess progress, celebrate successes, and adjust plan as needed.
